My winter break was much needed. It was a time where I could relax, catch up on my sleep and work on any incompleted assignments. During my winter break I started my online trig course which has been going pretty smoothly, I have been trying to put in 1 to 2 hours a day to work on Math and just refresh my memory. I did a lot of homework such as projects, essay, and even worked on my senior project. Thinking back to my first semester it has been a wild ride. I have faced many challenges that has required me to input hard work. However what I have loved about first semester is that I was given the chance to engage in many fun activities and events that have occurred such as homecoming and Bellweek. I was given the opportunity to participate in the homecoming court and I can say that it was one for the book. I made amazing memories and was given the chance to share this cool experience with many of my close friends.
To go on with, I can definitely say that the reality of first semester has really hit me. Now that we are in January of 2016 it has hit me so hard. As I was filling out college application I just noticed how close we were to our graduation date and college. I can recall to the first day of my freshman year, stepping foot into LHS and thinking to myself how I was going to get through this thing called high school. But I did! Here I am writing this 4 years later about to graduate. I still need to complete lots work I know I am very excited along with my fellow classmates however I still need to get work done. One of the biggest things that I need to accomplish is my Senior project which I will be getting done January 26th which I am very nervous about. Although I know that what they are trying to do to us is get us ready for the real world and share our experiences.
Another things I need to accomplish before I graduate is my ap courses and take the AP exams at the end of the year! In addition, I also need to complete my math course and any other courses that I am taking. College application has been going pretty great. I have submitted all of my application and have currently been accepted into one college (Fresno State). I am currently waiting patiently for my admission decision to my other 7 schools. The progress that I have made to find my job post graduation is do research. I have been looking into different job that I can take on within my field, and that has been it. I am ready to graduate and face the reality of life. I am excited to see what 2016 has in stored for me. I can definitely say that 2016 is my year I have a lot of things coming my way and I am more than excited to share this with my classmates.
