So, senior year is finally here. The year that I have been patiently waiting for and is now present. My feelings are all over the place I'm not sure if I should be thrilled or be frightened that I am soon going to be entering adulthood and embark on a new journey in life on my own. Though, I can state that this is all a bittersweet moment I am prepared to see where life takes me. As I sit here and write this I can say that I am ready to begin my senior year. This is just the beginning as I have noticed, I know that this is year is going to be fulfilled with lots of laughter and enjoyable moments along with challenges that will face me. I have admitted myself into tough courses such as AP biology, AP english literature and AP gov. Not only that but in addition I am also taking an online trigonometry course that will require me to be committed to my work. My number one goal is to stay on top of game and stay on pace this will help me to become a better responsible person.
I have also been committing my time to school events and activities, being involved in ASB has allowed me to be open up and experience the fun things that go around in our campus. I am definitely looking forward to new adventures. This all seems so unrealistic because I can still remember the first day of my freshman year, this school year we be looking forward to applying to college which is coming up very soon I believe in October. Not to mention I don't even have an idea on where I would like to attend college or even apply, however I hope that I can come to a conclusion and attend a college that will be right fit for me.
Anyways throughout my time here at LHS I have met some really friendly people that are still my friend, as everyone says that your social circles get smaller by time you hit your senior year it is definitely true. Not only that but you see the real side to people, you begin to learn how they are as a person. My circle consist of people that bring the better side of me, they are great people that are brilliant and always seems to be on top of their game with academics as well. This has helped me a lot because I am surrounded by people that motivate me and that are also goal oriented. One of the most important things that I have learned while attending LHS is that there is no time to slack off either you continue at your teacher's pace or you move ahead, most of the time I have found that I work faster than the teacher’s pace so this has allowed me to continue my work without the teacher. Regarding the PBS system I feel that I have gained some benefits from it which is what I have stated above, I really hope that I can apply all of my skills that I have gained from PBS to the real world after high school. This is basically it for the beginning of my senior year i am counting down to the days of graduation and i am ready for whatever is thrown at me next.
