Without a doubt my high school journey has been pretty hectic. I've learned and received many lessons in academic areas; I've also seen the true colors in many different people that I have gotten to know over the course of the year. From being clueless about what was going to be brought forward, to me on my first day of freshman year, I c an say that my high school journey has been shaping up pretty great! Not to mention, I feel as if I’m just on this crazy roller coaster and it’s a never ending one; entering into it as if it’s the beginning (freshmen year) and having it not end until my senior year. This journey has consisted of bountiful amounts of highs and lows, and I've learned nothing but lessons, I’m thrilled to see what the next two years has in stored for me.
As everyone has said “junior year will be the hardest year of all,” I can finally agree with what everybody has been saying. Now that I’m here and experiencing it on my own, I’ve realized how crazy these couple months have been. This year has been a major change for me; It has definitely gave me an eye opening experience. Going from having little homework and less pressure to staying up late and finishing an essay for AP English will forever be in my memories. Although my life consists of going to school every day and coming home to do homework, I am actually enjoying this wild journey. Junior year will be unforgettable. I’m blessed to share this experience with my classmates and my closest friends! I've accomplished a lot this past year from loads of school work to being a better me and staying motivated has been; one of best experience and changes I have made. Especially taking two AP classes and difficult college prep courses and still managing to stay on pace has been a great accomplishment.
Putting myself out there and joining clubs and participating in school events will surely be memorable. However in many areas I still do struggle and need some guidance. As I continue my high school journey I hope I keep trying to improve and better myself in many areas, especially academically, and aim for level 4’s. A bad habit I need I need to stop doing, and I’m sure everybody has done it or is guilty to it is PROCRASTINATING; It will forever be the death of me. By my senior year I really hope my addiction to procrastinating will decrease. Another thing that I need to do is study harder so that I could pass my test with high percentages, because that will definitely benefit me in the long run. Another goal of mine is to read more books, more than I usually read because I know that will help me especially with language. Improving my vocabulary is on my goal list along with practicing anything that I have trouble with. Aside from things that I need to improve on I am very excited for the future. I am looking forward to finishing my first semester of junior year.
